 Inspired by the stark and scarcely populated landscape these images explore a series of contradictions characteristic of the Southern Hemisphere; the extreme contrast between light and dark, the burden of clouds and weightlessness of mist, the genesis of life and ongoing regeneration and decay. Each image captures the intersection between the extremities of nature and human habitation, transforming the landscape into a document of residual absence.
